Some extremely smart person threw their smoke in the hay, and it took fire.
I also thought they played full set..? Maybe it just seemed too short! Amazing anyhow! :D

Am i the only person who thought that the gig wasn't that good? I
really love Amorphis since their first days and loved almost every
show, but this year in Wacken was kind of ... ähm ... boring?
And so absolutely unpersonal. They just played their set without
any comments, especially nothing about the fire. We were standing in
the smoke for over 2 hours and (not only) my eyes were full of smoke
and ash. It would have been nice if they just commented about that.
They had a lot of Fans out there in Wacken who really supported the
band. They shouldn't forget this.
And can anybody explain why the "meet & greet" was cancelled?

From what I heard, they had to be back at
the airport earlier than originally planned. Seems like the band didn't
stay at all after the show but went straight back to Hamburg. As for
not talking between songs, given that they only had some 45 minutes, it
makes sense that they'd rather fit as many songs as possible into that
slot... damn, I wish Type O Negative had done the same instead of
bullshitting the audience. But it was a pity (albeit understandable)
that they relied so heavily on the old stuff rather than promoting the
new. Good for all those that hoped for a nostalgia trip, of course...

I haven't seen them before, so I don't have any past gigs to compare it
to. But you might be right, they should have commented on the fire...
Damn fire! I got rather annoyed as I had managed to get a great
front-row spot, and had to leave it..  Ehr, well... Got an almost as good spot, so.. 
Ehr, you might be right about the "Unpersonal"-part, but I was too
exited about being on an Amorphis concert to notice, or care... :P I
had a bloody great time!
The meet & greet got cancelled? I wouldn't know, I wasn't to keen
on the meet & greet with any band, I'd rather go to concerts...

didn't been at any of their show but im sure i agree with libertyinchains it's always too short even if the play hopurse and hourse
